How in the world did my little baby boys turn into great big 4th and 2nd graders? I’m so proud of them…
They are such wonderful boys. I, too, can’t believe that they are as old as they are. Thay are also so cute.
Enjoy the 3-day weekend boys. Gramma will!
You have many reasons to be proud of them. They are great boys that are polite, mindful, smart and considerate. They argue amongst themselves, but what brothers and sisters do not.
Congrats on rearing such nice young guys!
p.s. yes, I am biased, but honest.

Many of you know that I hail from Roanoke, Virginia (go Patriots!) – well, we made a whirlwind, last minute decision to skip town and head down there for a few days while Steve was at his annual Ceramics Convention (go Bisque!). We hung out with the aunts, painted pottery at Glazed Bisque-it downtown (this place is awesome!), went to the zoo, and had an all around busy and fun time, despite the fact that poor Livvie felt awful due to a fever and sinus infection (she is now on antibiotics, whew).

Love the pics and remember the moments,,,what a great weekend! But, this ole’ lady took a nap afterwards. Speaking of old, can you Photoshop the wrinkles out of my smile? It’s either Photoshop or Botox for me.
Hope Livvie is feeling better now, she tried her best!
I love the pics esp the one where I think Tillie is smiling. The last one of Alex is fantastic.
Hope the “aunts” have the group shot framed! Do the kids know how lucky they are to have so many caring family members?

Alex pointed out this evening that there is only one more day of summer vacation left… I fully expect the boys to celebrate properly by channeling Phineas and Ferb and building something amazing in the backyard that Olivia can “bust” them for. I’ll be sure to go get a mud bath or take a cooking class or something like the mom on the show always seems to do… Can you tell I just listened to 5 hours of Phineas and Ferb in the minivan on the way back from Roanoke? Pics from that trip coming soon…. In the meantime, my husband had better get home from the pottery convention soon because I am tired of being so incredibly outnumbered and having to do all the heavy lifting and ugly driving solo! Chardonnay, take me away!

Tillie is such a diva
I can’t believe how much these girls have grown since the last time I photographed them! Especially the big sister – last year she had no interest in having her photo taken with her baby sister, but this time – wow, she worked so hard helping us chase down the busy and wandering one year old that I owe her a great deal of credit for how well these photos turned out – and it doesn’t hurt that both girls are absolutely gorgeous!
Enjoy!

Beautiful, as always. Love using your deck. Where were the black-eyed Susans? Adorable, so-feminine girls!
Just seven more days until the school routine resumes! I think we are all ready, though I have to admit I have been averaging a wake up time (don’t hate me) of 8:15am! Lucky me, all three kids have turned into slumberbugs this summer – I sure am going to miss that! But it is a decent trade to get back into a routine, more time to work during the day, and my very favorite season, Fall. In the meantime, we are off to my hometown for most of this week, so I will be out for a bit…
Attention clients – now is the time to schedule holiday portraits! For sessions after mid-November I can’t guarantee Holiday delivery – plus, it’s great to take advantage of the nice weather and scenery of September and October, right?
Olivia finished her summer gymnastics class today – I swear we did not plan that she and her BFF would show up in matching pink and blue outfits with pigtails – are they so cute, or what?
